Anaheim firefighters extinguished a brand new GMC Yukon that was engulfed in flames during a test drive on Sunday.

The driver was in the 2015 SUV around 2 p.m. on the 2500 block of East Wagner Avenue when smoke filled the car and then caught on fire, according to KTLA. Authorities received a number of 911 calls about the burning car. Some residents said they heard "mini-explosion" sounds. Another person said his house shook from the incident.

“Everyone kept thinking: Is it going to explode one more time? Because it looked like the gas tank was still there, intact,” Sergio Luna, a witness, told the L.A. Times. “So that was the big fear: If it does go off, what’s going to happen?”

Members of the Anaheim Fire Department were able to put out the fire within 10 minutes and nobody was hurt, reported CBS Los Angeles.

Lt. Tim Schmidt of the Anaheim Police Department told KTLA, "It appeared that the car had some oil leak or some fluid leaking prior." However, authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
