Short pieces of video footage captured of the Sayre Fire, which began to rage in the Sylmar area late last night, have already made their way to YouTube.

This shows the "wall of fire" one driver witnessed near the Olive View Hospital.

This was taken around 1:30 in the morning. She explains: "A girl and me walked up Hubbard because her grandpa lives up there and we went to check up on him. This was taken at Rajah St next to the mountain. The mountain is on fire behind the house."
