Video Shows Car Doing Donuts, Crashing Into Crowd At K-Mart Parking Lot [Updated]

Jalopnik added that, immediately after the incident, people swarmed the car, climbing on the hood and striking it with belts and rods.

NBC4 has obtained a video depicting a car doing donuts and plowing into a crowd at a K-Mart parking lot in Bellflower.
The incident occurred Saturday night at an event that was reportedly organized by The Big Bang Meets. The club describes itself on Facebook as hosting "the largest weekly car meets in SoCal."
Lieutenant Scott Hoglund of the county Sheriff's Department's Lakewood station told LAist that a call about "potential street racers" was placed at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday. Deputies arrived at the 10400 block of Rosecrans Avenue to disperse a crowd in the area. "There was no evidence of damage of injury" said Hoglund, adding that, at the moment, no one has reported being hit by a car at the event.
According to NBC 4, the event had started in Cerritos, before moving to Long Beach and eventually Bellflower.
