Car Crashes Into Valley Glen Starbucks, Injuring Seven
Seven people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a Valley Glen Starbucks on Thursday afternoon, reports KTLA.
The incident happened at around 1 p.m. at a Starbucks by the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Victory Boulevard, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in an alert. According to the report, a two-car collision had resulted in one of the vehicles crashing into the store. Amy Bastman, a spokesperson with the LAFD, told LAist that seven people were evaluated for injuries, and that three ambulances transported individuals to local hospitals, though it's unclear at the moment how many people were transported in total. ABC 7 reports that two people had suffered "serious" injuries.
A KFI reporter tweeted pictures from the scene. One image shows a Chevrolet Cruze that's partly parked inside the Starbucks.
