Brown and Boxer to 'Rally In the Valley' Day After Yesterday's Tea Party in the 818
This afternoon candidates Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer will be among the many California Dems taking part in the "Rally in the Valley" hosted by the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley, according to CBS.
The 1:30 p.m. event comes just a day after "a small but boisterous crowd" of 818 residents who align themselves with the conservative Tea Party movement gathered in Woodland Hills, reports the Daily News.
About two dozen voters who share the Tea Party values showed up yesterday; it is expected today's Dem "Rally in the Valley" will draw a large crowd to cheer on candidates like Boxer and Brown, as well as politicians Debra Bowen, John Chiang, Kamala Harris, Tom Torlakson, Brad Sherman, and Howard Berman--all of whom are slated to be present.
