A body of a man was discovered this morning inside a van parked near a Hollywood high school this morning.

The body was discovered at about 7:30 a.m. this morning in a brown van parked near Helen Bernstein High School, on the 1300 block of North Wilton Avenue. An employee at the school reported a bad smell coming from the van, NBC Los Angeles reports.

Police say the body may have been inside the van for multiple days, City News Service reports. LAPD Office Jane Kim told the L.A. Times that the van had been parked in the same spot for a few weeks.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but there is no evidence at this time to suggest foul play. The man has not been identified, but appears to have been in his 60s.
