A man's body was found in a parked car near Los Feliz today.

LAPD Officer Aareon Jefferson told LAist that authorities received a call from a passerby around 11:36 a.m. that there was possibly a body in a car located in the 3200 block of Hyperion Avenue, an area between Los Feliz and Atwater Village. When they found the man, he was not breathing. Jefferson confirmed that the man was dead.

It's not clear what his cause of death was at this moment. However, LAPD Detective Burchard told KTLA that the man seemed to be in his early 30s, and his body was in the early stages of decomposing.
