Best Of What?

With all the nation's journalists taking a week's vacation to drink their faces off, LAist has been reduced to trolling through the CitySearch food rankings. Let's see who's leading the burger derby...
1. In-N-Out Burger (Sunset)
2. Tommy's (Beverly)
3. Apple Pan
4. Father's Office
5. Fatburger (3rd St.)
Looks solid. In-N-Out on top, where it belongs. We'll take the heft of a double Fatburger with cheddar cheese over the Apple Pan any day of the week, though. And on a totally unrelated note, LAist loves those high gravity ales on the menu at Father's Office. Even if they're totally inappropriate for a driving town. Father's Office claims a well-deserved 1st place in the "Bar Menu" divison.
Still, the folks at In-N-Out might want to wait before they celebrate their impending victory. The #1 pizza joint, as rated by CitySearch, is the Pasadena Numero UNO on Foothill Boulevard. And the #1 Chinese spot is P.F. Chang's China Bistro on La Cienega. Hmm.
