According to the LAPD, a 22-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, was severely injured after he was run over by a "party bus" on Saturday night in Hollywood.

The individual had been a passenger on the bus as it stopped at various night clubs, but had become separated from the vehicle. The victim tried to catch up with the ride around 11:25 p.m. as it was travelling on McCadden Place but lost his footing and got caught under the bus' wheels, reports LA Now.

Said Murrel Pettway of LAPD’s West Traffic division,“Somehow, when he got run over, he ended up getting into the tire well...He was severely injured and he’s now at Cedars-Sinai [Medical Center],” notes LA Now.

Later, in another part of Hollywood, four people were shot during a fight on a "party bus" and, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect remains at large and may have fled in a blue Chevrolet El Camino.

That altercation occurred after 3 a.m. near the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Franklin Avenue. Reports LA Now, "two men in their 40s were shot in the leg, a woman in her 20s received a graze wound to her head and another woman in her 20s was shot in the buttocks." According to police, all four victims were taken to local hospitals where they were listed in stable condition.

Witnesses offered several different versions of the evening's events making it difficult to determine at this point what happened. Police are working to piece it together.
