Another Fugitive from Boston May be in Los Angeles, Says FBI
First we had Whitey Bulger, and now it looks like another fugitive from Boston may be on the lam here in Los Angeles.
CBS Los Angeles reports that John Joseph Hartin, 42, has been on the run ever since being charged in 1993 with the statutory rape of two young boys in the Boston area. At the time, he worked as a security guard and weighed about 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
FBI agents now believe that he might be hiding out in Southern California, and they're looking to track him down.
“John Hartin has been on the run for 18 years, much too long for the victims of his alleged crimes,” Special Agent Kristina Norris said in a statement.
