Rodney King will be buried at Forest Lawn's Hollywood Hills location on Friday, and prior to his funeral, a number of high-profile folks will speak about King and his life.

According to a press release issued today, the service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn, which holds up to 1,200 people. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, KPFK host Margaret Prescod and Diedra Wayans will all speak. The service will be followed by a burial at 2:00 p.m.

King was found dead at the bottom of a pool earlier this month. It's still not clear how, exactly, he passed away.
