Ahead of the Pac

The Pac-10 media poll was revealed yesterday and USC is number one. If you're a Trojan fan who believes in more than just coincidences, then take heart in knowing that the media poll has accurately predicted the last four conference champions. Meanwhile college football on the other side of town continues to sag as UCLA was picked 8th. In case you forgot (and most people in Westwood have already), the Bruins are coming off of an embarrassing loss to Fresno State in the Sillicon Valley Bowl.
"We think we're going to be pretty good, contrary to what people think," second-year Coach Karl Dorrell said.
Well Karl, now that you've succeeded in running Tyler Ebell and Matt Moore out of town, good luck in having Drew Olsen run your inept offense.
To add another element to USC football's coolness, quarterback Matt Leinart has joined the blogger community. While the weblog reveals all kinds of personal information about Leinart (including his GPA), we're a little disappointed there's nothing on Leinart's girlfriend, pro surfer beauty and Roxy model Veronica Kay. Maybe Matt will add that soon.
