A student at San Diego State University was found dead in a frat house at about 8:30 this morning.

A statement on the school's website says that the student's identity is being withheld until his parents are notified, but NBC Los Angeles reports that relatives in the area have confirmed that his name was Barzeen Barzanji.

Barzanji was discovered unresponsive on a bed at the Phi Kappa Theta house, according to the San Diego Union Tribune, although he was not a member of that fraternity. It's not clear exactly how he died or who found him and called police.

Barzanji was the president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon campus fraternity.
