For one, it's been hot. But another reason could be this: July 5th through 11th was Nude Recreation Week. Who knew?! Perhaps that's why there has been a random rash of nudeness recently (that link has some funny photos) or perhaps not. But talk about random from all angles. And if you were taking Amtrak or Metrolink last Saturday, you may have been mooned. Also, in West Hollywood, the underwear man has apparently returned. "Hot man on the loose in West Hollywood!" tweeted Actor Rose McGowen. WeHo Daily documented numerous sightings of the man walking around WeHo and Hollywood earlier this month.

But we digress, back to Nude Recreation Week. According to the website Brownielocks and the Three Bears, which claims monitor all of those random holidays, here's what they have to say about their listings: "All our holidays are validated with sponsors or organizations ; or, we validate the source or origin for an observance to prove it's not made up. We do not have holidays for every single day of the year. Sites that do, IMHO, are making some of their days up. Beware!" So there you have it.

Just in case you were wondering, today marks the first day of National Rabbit Week and we are already in the middle of National Sports Cliche Week.
