One man was fatally shot in the middle of a massive brawl outside a nightclub in Hollywood early this morning.

The fight erupted just after 2 am at Empire Club on Cahuenga Boulevard, according to City News Service. The altercation, fatal shooting and images of the slain man lying on the sidewalk were captured on video by a photographer from TMZ.

The man killed was described as a 19-year-old man, according to CBS Los Angeles. NBC Los Angeles says he was shot in the head. A woman was grazed by a bullet, but she was treated at the scene. A second male victim in his early 20's, who was punched in the mouth, was transported to the hospital, according to CNS (early reports said he was shot but police said those were erroneous).

In the TMZ video, it appears that a group of women are fighting on the sidewalk outside the club and then a bigger group joins in on the brawl.

A witness Jeffrey Valera described the scene to CBS Los Angeles, "Basically, the club was shutting down. We were on our way out. A couple girls got into a scuffle. A couple guys tried to get involved to break it up and while that was going on I guess the guys got a little heated."

He continued, "Heard a few threatening statements, heard a few slurs and after that I heard a few terms that mean gun and about five seconds later, some gunshots happened. Three, four or five gunshots."

The suspect has not been arrested, but it looks like this video along with the hordes of witnesses should help.
