Italy's Snaidero Kitchen & Design has invited renowned chef Celestino Drago to demonstrate the joys of fine Italian holiday cuisine in the exquisite setting of their West Hollywood showroom. Participants enjoy tastings of all preparations along with complimentary wines and mineral waters throughout this demonstration class. On the menu: Cappesante con Speck, Brodetto di Funghi Morelle e Carciofi (Jumbo scallops wrapped with speck in morel mushroom and artichoke broth), Lasagnette Bianchi e Neri con Salsa d'Aragosta (Black and white lasagna with lobster sauce), Orata Mediterranea in Crosta di Patate e Vegetali Gratinati (Mediterranean snapper with crispy potato and vegetable gratin), Budino di Panettone e Nutella con Salsa al Cioccolato (Panettone and Nutella bread pudding with chocolate sauce)--and you'll have to admit it sounds extremely indulgent and tantalizing in Italian, no?
The cost is $100 per person, and class size is extremely limited. Please register early by calling Valeria Basso at 310-516-8499. Street parking is available on Robertson Boulevard.
