The Elephant Theatre Company in Hollywood is holding a special anti-Valentine’s Day evening of one-act plays in the anthology, The Best of Love Bites: 10 Years Together ... and Still No Ring, tonight at 8 pm. Plays and authors include The Ascent by Jonathan Caren, Wicked City by Dan McCoy, Reality Romcom: Day 98 With My Attained Pixie Dream Girl by Kerry Carney and Pasta And Love, written and directed by David Franco. Tickets for tonight’s special performance: $25 (and includes wine from Bodega Wine Bar, champagne and goodie bags). The play series continues this weekend through March 20.

Tonight from 6:30-7:30 pm, the Annenberg Beach House presents the special Valentine’s evening concert: Passion/Pasión! with Victoria Kirsch & Friends (Kirsch on piano, Jamie Chamberlin, soprano; Gregorio González, baritone). They’ll be playing selections from operas and musicals, from Pagliacci, Don Giovanni and West Side Story; show tunes from Gershwin, Piaf and Porter; and traditional Spanish zarzuelas. The Back on the Beach Cafe is serving a $35 prix-fixe dinner from 4:30-9 pm so you can dine before or after the concert. Make a reservation online for the concert, and dinner reservations must be made separately by calling the Café at (310) 393-8282.
