THEATRE: Feel like pondering human existence tonight? Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot -- a classic play about nothing (or maybe everything) plays in Glendale tonight.

DANCE: The Debbie Allen Dance Academy presents Alex in Wonderland – a “re-imagining” of Alice’s version with a few other fairy tale characters mixed in for some fun. This dance musical is tres kid friendly.

FILM: Film critic Kevin Thomas screens one of his silent favorites: King Vidor’s The Crowd (1928). The film chronicles a couple’s struggle to with life in the big city and their attempts to rise above “the crowd.” There’s life piano accompaniment with the film.

JAZZ: Looks like The Tonight Show music crew needs a little something something to do with the WGA strike going on. The Kevin Eubanks Group plays the Baked Potato tonight featuring Eubanks on guitar, Marvin “Smitty” Smith on drums, Derrick “Dock” Murdock on bass and Gerry Etkins on keyboards.

THEATRE LITE: Disney’s High School Musicalis now live musical complete with orchestra. The production features 34 performers and includes favorite characters and songs from the movie, plus two new songs written especially for the stage.
