It’s a School Night tonight and that means an evening of live music and DJs at Bardot in Hollywood. On the bill: Rickie Lee Jones at 9:30 pm; Hazel at 10 pm; Bright Archer at 10:30 pm; Katy B at 11:30 pm; and special DJ sets by Prince Language at midnight. Free with RSVP.
Tonight’s J.A.M. Session at the Ford Amphitheatrewelcomes Contra-Tiempo, whose dancers will lead participants in the intricacies of Salsa dance moves. The session is free, as usual, but reservations can be made online or call the Ford Box Office at 323.461.3673 to avoid handling fees. 7 pm.
Amoeba’s Monday night movies continue at Space15Twenty with a screening of the documentary LEMMY: 49% Motherfucker. 51% Son of a Bitch. The film follows Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister who still embodies the rock lifestyle at age 65. Lemmy includes studio and concert footage as well as interviews with friends, family, fellow musicians such as Metallica, Slash, Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, Peter Hook, actor Billy Bob Thornton, wrestling superstar Triple H, Alice Cooper and Mick Jones of The Clash.
Broke Girl’s Guide hosts an all-night happy hour at Oscar’s Cerveteca in Venice tonight from 7 pm until closing. Drinks are 30 percent off, sangria is $5 a glass and some of the restaurant’s popular dishes are served up with special prices, including Peruvian Sashimi in Roccotto and aji pepper lime cure for $9, Quinoa and Kale Salad with spiced cashews for $5, Epazote Shrimp Crudo with heirloom tomato and red onions for $8.
