Tacos and Tattoos
You'll find 6 food trucks (Tasty Meat, Calbi, Lomo Arigato, Del's Lemonade, Surfer Tacos, Don Chow Tacos, and Komodo Food) lined up on a closed off street with a live DJ all this afternoon in Venice. It's Tacos and Tattoos at Ink Monkey, and it's happening from Noon to 9 p.m. Check out tons of tattoo artists, a mobile artist, live music, and of course the food trucks.
Stir It 28 Fundraiser for Haiti
STIR IT 28 is fundraising effort to help in the relief of Haiti's devastating earthquake. Three food bloggers have come together to bring awareness and raise money for the island and today multiple cities will host an evening of culinary adventures, featuring food from local chefs, restaurants and food bloggers. Funds raised will go directly to YELE & Share Our Strength. LA's event is being held in a private home in Hollywood today from 4-7 p.m. Tickets are $30 advance and a few will be available at the door for $35. BBQ & Blues @Zeke's in WeHo
Zeke’s Smokehouse in West Hollywood is launching a regular event they hope will help you fend off Sunday Night Blues. BBQ & Blues is a monthly live musical performance featuring local blues musicians. From 6-9pm, diners will enjoy a free live blues performance alongside their beloved BBQ favorites like Carolina Pulled Pork, Southern Fried Chicken, Memphis Baby Back Ribs and more. To kick off the series, Steve Williams and Friends will showcase an acoustic bluesy stew of classic songs and rhythm tonight.
