Sea and Space Flea Market
Sea and Space Explorations in Eagle Rock is having a fundraising "Resort Raiser" flea market tonight from 6-10pm. There you'll experience a giant flea market, performances by Simone Gad (a short spoken word piece), Homesick Elephant and Doormouse, sounds, Fluxus popsicles, massages, psychic readings, food and fundraising for this artist-run non profit.

Learn How to Start a Fall Victory Garden
Tired of high priced food in these hard economic times? Then grow your own! By popular demand, Librarian/Agriculturist Wendy McPherson will demonstrate how to start your own "Victory Garden" in the Fall season. Grow beautiful, easy vegetables in containers or small yards. No experience necessary, and everyone is welcome to attend. It's at the Huntington Park Library (6518 Miles Avenue, Huntington Park) from 2-3 p.m. and is free!
