LA Heritage Day
Yes, Los Angeles has history. Lots of it. And to prove that, over 60 historical organizations--from the Art Deco Society to the Venice Historical Society--will gather together today at Heritage Square. TIP: It's $5 admission, but if you bring this flyer (.pdf), it's free (read our pre-write of this event here).

Music in downtown's Bradbury Building
As part of the Da Camera Society's Chamber Music in Historic Places concert series, the Amstel Saxophone Quartet will fill the Bradbury Building's interior open-designed space with the music of Mozart, Phillip Glass and Avro Part this afternoon in two separate concerts. Info and prices here.

One-Act Plays
Short, sweet and to the point, what more can you ask for? The Spy Ants Theatre Company tonight begins What If? An Evening of One-Act Plays at St. Nick's Pub Upstairs Theatre on 3rd Street near La Cienega.

Walk with a Naturalist
It's Spring, so join a docent naturalist over at Topanga State Park for a two hour walk to view wildflowers and other signs of spring. Meet at the park's kiosk at 1 p.m.

Ghosts
This weekend was the opening for A Noise Within's rendition of Ghosts by modern drama's father, Henrik Ibsen. Complete with a study guide (.pdf), you can catch this classic drama through May 9th at the Masonic Temple Building in Glendale.

Powerful Vocals
You've heard it used in movie trailers before, but have you in person? Carl Orff's Carmina Burnana is one of the most awesome choir pieces out there and the Santa Clarita Master Chorale will perform it this afternoon at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center.
