"From the Collection" Screenings @The Paley Center
The Paley Center in Beverly Hills is screening some funny stuff today, starting at 12:30 with a pair of classic "Mary Tyler Moore" episodes, followed at 1:25 by a duo of hilarious "I Love Lucy" romps (including the "grape stomping" one!) a stand-up comedy on TV special at 2:30, and at 3:45 the premiere episode of "Charlie's Angels." Shakespeare UnScripted @The Little Fish
It's the last performance of Shakespeare UnScripted--so who knows what the talented improvisers of ImproTheatre have up their costumed sleeves for this evening. The completely extemporaneous play in the style of the Bard is being staged this summer in conjunction with Shakespeare By the Sea. $25 gets you a ticket, $40 the Whale and Ale dinner and ticket combo. These actors rock Film Noir and Jane Austen, and are known around the world for their Shakespearian chops. Proceeds support Shakespeare by the Sea. [event info/tickets]
