85 Year Old Farmers Market Celebrates With 11th Annual Tasting Event
The Original Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax, is the OG of farmers markets in LA. This long-time Los Angeles establishment has been open since 1934 and now features over 100 grocers, shops, and restaurants. On July 23rd, The Original Farmers Market will celebrate their 85th year by hosting their 11th Annual Taste of Farmers Market where guests will have access to 50 tastings from their delectable eateries and merchants.
For the guests who attend on Tuesday night, there will be much to choose from. The offerings will range from Dollar Hotcakes flipped by Du-par's to The Dog Bakery's dog treats. There will be plenty of options for everyone! Local firehouse stations 61 and 58 will be offering up meat-filled and vegetarian chili cooked by their very own firehouse chefs. Other merchants include olive oil and vinegar-inspired cheeses from Temecula Olive Oil, chicken bites from Fritzi Coop, ceviche samplers from Monsieur Marcel Seafood Market, and more. Entry for adults includes beer and wine samples, along with two non-alcoholic drinks. But what about the kids? Their entry includes one non-alcoholic drink, a Farmers Market coloring book, opportunities to take photos with fire trucks, and visit the First-in-Fire arts and crafts table.

Tickets start from $40 if purchased by July 22nd and will increase to $50 on the day of the event, July 23rd.
