Empire star Taraji P. Henson's out promoting her new movie What Men Want, where she gets the power to read men's minds. To help with the hype, Henson went undercover as a Lyft driver who can read the minds of her passengers as she drives them around Los Angeles.

Henson doesn't have a lot of chill — a lot of her passengers act at least suspicious to begin with about her real identity, and she drops plenty of hints and references to both her new movie and her work as Cookie on Empire.

Like any promotional video, we'll caution you to take the reality of this with a grain of salt. But we can't fault anyone on that hustle, trying to get people to care about their work.

It's part of a series of Undercover Lyft videos featuring celebrities — other entries have included Chance the Rapper, DNCE, and Shaquille O'Neal. (Wait, how does Shaq go "undercover"?! You can find out here — he at least tries some more complicated wigs and outfits to hide who he is.)

What Men Want comes out this Friday, starring Henson, Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Max Greenfield, Jason Jones, Erykah Badu, and more.
