That Giant 'Baby Trump' Balloon Is Flying Over DTLA Freeways This Morning

Commuters through downtown Los Angeles may notice a new addition to the skyline Friday morning.

It'll be hard to miss the 20-foot-tall balloon depicting President Donald Trump as a baby, wearing a diaper and preparing his next modern-day presidential tweet. The balloon is floating over the interchange of the 110 and 10 freeways near the L.A. Convention Center.

There was a live stream of the balloon getting inflated, which you can watch below.

The inflatable political statement is happening as the convention center hosts the unconventional Politicon this weekend. The fourth annual event brings out some of the biggest names in U.S. politics, news and commentary.

It'll already be slow-going through downtown during the morning rush, but we imagine it'll be even more of a crawl as drivers turn their attention from the road to their phones get a picture of the big, orange spectacle in the sky. Good luck out there.

The "Baby Trump" balloon was flown in London during the president's visit there in July and made an appearance during a march in Chicago last week.
