Rapper Tyler, The Creator is bringing new life to the Fairfax district with his Golf Wang flagship store, which opened on Tuesday in advance of Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, Tyler's annual music festival, which takes place this weekend in Exposition Park.
Frank Ocean, Solange and A$AP Rocky were some of the big names on the guest list for Golf Wang's opening event on Tuesday, Hypebeast reports. The L.A. flagship store, which Tyler designed himself, boasts T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats and more from Golf Wang's 2017 collection, as well as Tyler's new GOLF le FLEUR collaboration with Converse.
Tyler, The Creator isn't the first rapper to bring his signature look to Fairfax; Kanye's "PABLO" pop-up shop drew lines around the block when it briefly landed next to the Supreme store last year. Golf Wang clothes don't come cheap; a "Flower Face" snapback will set you back $40, while a "Camp Flognaw" tee sells for $30. But hey, it's still better than Postmates-ing a plain white T-shirt from Justin Bieber.
If you can't afford to shop at Golf Wang's new flagship store, kick back in your dumb, uncool, non-Tyler, The Creator-designed clothes and watch the video for "Who Dat Boy":
Golf Wang is located at 350 North Fairfax in Los Angeles. The store is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
