A Halloween 'Twin Peaks' Pop-Up Is Coming To Melrose
Just in time for the holiday, Showtime is hosting a Twin Peaks-themed pop-up on Melrose, taking over the building that housed the original Johnny Rockets location. The building will transform into the show's Double R Diner, and inside fans can purchase official Twin Peaks merchandise, including David Lynch Coffee and cosplay costumes.
The pop-up will run from October 16 to October 22. Costumes and merchandise are available on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last. Different types of merchandise will be available for all different levels of fans, and prices will range from $10 to $350. It will include costumes for characters who originated in the most recent season of the show, like Dougie and Candie.
The third season of the show ended on September 3 and received universal praise for bringing the show to new heights (a far cry from the doldrums of the latter half of the second season). Sixteen years off the air did nothing to dilute the show's mystery and power. It also ended just in time for Halloween.
The pop-up will be at 7505 Melrose Avenue from October 16 to October 22. Open from 12-8 p.m.
