Woman Who Cleaned Trump's Star Inspires Twitter To Declare Meryl Streep, Shrek, Others As 'My President' On Walk Of Fame

A few days ago, Twitter user @makenna_mg posted an instantly viral photo of her cleaning President Donald Trump's Hollywood Star.

President Trump's Walk of Fame star has faced innumerable graffiti and defacements in the past, most notably a swastika and a full-on destruction attempt during the election season. The graffiti has tamed, but is still present enough to prompt a tourist like Makenna to clean it off.

Her decision prompted many Twitter back-and-forths of cleaning/defacing/cleaning of Trump's star, most notably from Twitter user @alexaagaarciaa (after posting her viral tweet, she made her account private, so the tweet is only viewable via screenshots).

More notable than anything with Trump's star, however, is the rise of people cleaning other stars using the same rationale of "nothing but respect for MY president."

It all started with Twitter user jake__stubbs, who posted a photo next to Meryl Streep's Walk of Fame star.

For some people, though, Danny DeVito is the more appropriate president.

Sometimes we need our president to have experience battling snakes in aircrafts.

For others, our president is our most iconic pop star.

Our president could even be a Canadian.

Or how about America's most esteemed politician, Shrek?

Regardless of your political beliefs, there's one thing we can agree on: respect for presidents comes from cleaning their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
