Cinespia Gears Up For 16 Years Of Summer Screenings At Hollywood Forever
Sweet sixteens are momentous occasions and L.A.’s beloved institution Cinespia is pulling out all the stops for theirs.
John Wyatt and Alia Penner's iconic film series will once again set up shop at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a full summer of outdoor screenings. The season kicks off on May 13 with the Roman Polanski-directed film-buff classic Chinatown. Murder and depravity continue on May 20 as Hollywood Forever hosts another quintessentially L.A. film, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Boogie Nights. Cinespia will deviate from its programming love-affair with L.A. for one night with Alfred Hitchcock's New York thriller, North by Northwest, but will quickly return to the palm tree-lined streets of Beverly Hills (specifically north of Sunset!) with Amy Heckerling’s teen classic Clueless.
It may not say R.S.V.P. on the Statue of Liberty, but tickets are required for each event, which you can purchase on Cinespia’s website.
Hollywood Forever Cemetery is located on 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038. All Cinespia events are B.Y.O.B. More titles will be revealed throughout the summer.
