Here Are The Statewide Proposition Ballot Results

It's over. We made it. The 2016 election, widely confused with the Puente Hills garbage dump is finally over. While us Californians are #blessed enough not to live in swing-state subjected to the almighty power of limitless corporate spending on a presidential candidate's behalf, we suffer through our own cold hell of endless voter propositions—many of which were designed explicitly to confuse us.
But, again, it's over. Here's an overview of the results for the statewide ballot measures.
Proposition 51: Authorizes $9 billion in bonds for school maintenance and construction.
YES wins 54% to 46%.
Proposition 52: Asks voters change allocation of Medi-Cal.
YES wins 69.6% to 30.4%.
Proposition 53: Should Voter Approval be needed to fund state projects larger than $2 billion?
NO wins 51.4% to 48.6%.
Proposition 54: Prohibits the state legislature from passing any law unless it has been published online for at least 72 hours.
YES wins 64.3% to 35.7%.
Proposition 55: Extends personal income tax on those making more than $250,000 annually.
YES wins 62.1% to 37.9%.
Proposition 56: Adds a $2 tax on cigarette packs.
YES wins 62.9% to 37.1%.
Proposition 57: Reforms California's criminal sentencing procedures.
YES wins 63.6% to 36.4%.
Proposition 58: Restores the ability of public schools to conduct bilingual educational instruction.
YES wins 72.4% to 27.6%.
Proposition 59: Requests state legislators attempt to begin process for a national constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.
YES wins 52.3% to 47.7%.
Proposition 60: Requires porn performers to wear condoms while filmed.
NO wins 53.9% to 46.1%.
Proposition 61: Would mandate California pays no more than the VA for prescription drugs.
NO wins 53.7% to 46.3%.
Proposition 62: Repeals the death penalty.
No wins 53.9% to 46.1%.
Proposition 63: Implements background checks on those purchasing ammunition.
YES wins 62.6% to 37.4%.
Proposition 64: Legalizes recreational marijuana.
YES wins 56.0% to 44.0%.
Proposition 65: Carryout bag charges.
NO wins 55.3% to 44.7%.
Proposition 66: Speeds up the death penalty process.
YES wins 50.9% to 49.1%.
Proposition 67: Ban on single-use plastic bags.
YES wins 52.0% to 48.0%.
