Roy Choi Is Bringing A Chicken Dumpling Burger To The New NoMad Truck
Roy Choi will be serving chicken dumpling burgers out of a food truck this Friday, October 21st. It's not his truck, though...
NYC chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara (of the legendary and Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad) are bringing a food truck to L.A. ahead of their first West Coast outpost of The NoMad, which will open Downtown next year.
They're rolling in their truck this Friday (fresh from Desert Trip), and it will be open Mondays through Fridays, 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. You'll be able to find its changing location via their Twitter, but this Friday's location will be The Line Hotel (at 3515 Wilshire).
The truck will feature popular dishes from their New York location, with the added twist of bringing in "some of our favorite L.A. chefs [to] challenge them to a chicken burger showdown of epic proportions." The first to be challenged is Roy Choi, who will be serving up his dumpling burger through the end of November. Sadly, there's no photo of that one yet, so here's the NoMad's regular chicken burger offering:
