Santa Monica's Real Food Daily Is Closing Tonight
Real Food Daily, one of L.A.'s longest-running vegan restaurants, is closing the doors on their original location.
On Monday, founder Ann Gentry posted a letter announcing the closure, thanking diners for 24 years of patronage, calling it an "an extraordinary journey."
According to Eater, the RFD in downtown Santa Monica is vacating the spot over a lease dispute with their landlord.
Fear not, people with friends from out of town who are vegetarians. Real Food Daily will continue their operations at their West Hollywood, Pasadena, and LAX locations. And Gentry says a new Santa Monica location will open sometime in 2017.
