The Best Late Night Happy Hour Deals In Los Angeles
As much as we like the idea of unwinding after a long day with some great happy hour deals, sometimes work schedules or traffic prevent us from enjoying the usual early evening offerings at most places. That's when the glory of the late night happy hour special truly shines. From cheap booze to deliciously discounted bites, we've found plenty of excellent spots around town where you can unwind without breaking the bank. Here, we present the saviors of the night owl.

What's better than a single late night happy hour or even a few? Why, happiness all day and night, of course. Cole's, known for their classic French Dip sandwiches and considered L.A.'s oldest watering hole, offers an all-day happy hour on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. until close. You can sip all of their menu and board cocktails for $8, well drinks and beer for $5, and get $2 off any spirit, as well as wine and champagne by the glass for $6. Don't be surprised if you find yourself contemplating a late night French Dip as well.

Josef Centeno's popular downtown spot offers a wonderfully-named "Super Nacho Hour" with tasty deals from 10 p.m. to close on Monday through Saturday nights. Enjoy the eponymous super nachos topped with avocado, crema and salmorejo for $7 or go for the vegan version for $9. For $5, you can also chow on made-to-order guacamole, chicken or kielbasa tacos, and bean and cheese quesadillas. In addition to plenty of other great food deals, there are also drink specials like $5 micheladas, $4 Pacifico or Negra Modelo, and $9 margaritas.

On Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., head to the bar of this newish, farm-centric spot with a roaring wood burning grill for some sweet deals on drinks and bites. They're offering $4 pours of draft beer, $6 glasses of wine and well cocktails, as well as $7 specialty cocktails like the Bee's Knees, an old fashioned or a vodka cucumber martini. They'll also fire up some great $5 bar bites like mini pulled chicken sandwiches, grass-fed burgers, gourmet grilled cheese and herbed fries.

EMC SEAFOOD & RAW BAR
This popular Koreatown seafood joint offers a sweet reverse happy hour Friday and Saturday, 11 p.m. to close, and Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to close. Raw bar-lovers hit up the chef's selection of $1.50 oysters along with discounts on small plates like chicken wings, calamari and fries specials. Plus, for only $5 you can grab a draft beer, glass of house wine, sangria, lemon drop or a cosmo to wash it all down. And now at their Woodland Hills location, you can get the same deals.

Upstairs from Koreatown's EMC, and at their Burbank and West L.A. locations, Backhouse hooks you up with daily happy hour specials from 10 p.m. to close, in addition to their regular 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. deals. Enjoy $5 wells and house wines, $4 drafts, $6 hot sake and house sangria and a $7 lychee martini (knock a buck off for the regular happy hour). You can also get some great discounts on chicken, beef, veggie and bacon-wrapped yakitori skewers, which will ultimately make you thirsty again for more cheap booze.

BELCAMPO RESTAURANT AND BUTCHER SHOP
Head to the Santa Monica location of this sustainable meat purveyor to dine like a champ with the Belcampo Boiler Maker. For one hour every night of the week, $25 will get you a draught beer, a shot of whiskey and their signature Belcampo Cheeseburger with fries. It's a tough one to beat. The Boiler Maker combo is available Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This cocktail spot and music venue offers a later-than-usual happy hour 7 to 9 p.m. nightly, but on Tuesdays, the deals run until midnight. Snag $5 drafts, $6 wine and wells, and sip $8 craft cocktails, saving about four bucks from the usual price. You can also order $15 whiskey flights on Wednesday nights. And there's usually plenty of entertainment to enjoy from bands to comedy, storytelling to dance parties.

Not only does this colorful Hollywood favorite offer a criminally underrated brunch, they're also great to hit up late at night. Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 p.m. until close, you can chow down on select half-priced bites when you buy a drink. Grab their famous polenta tots for a mere $5, soup or organic mixed greens for $4, any pizza or pasta for $9 and a burger with fries for $9 as well. Don't forget to draw something amazing on the table with the crayons provided.

This Arts District haunt is a fun spot to check out live music without a cover and now when you're catching a show late at night during the week, you can save a few bucks on drinks. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. they offer $5 draft beers and $5 whiskey shots to keep the villainous party going. You can also grab some late night eats from the Larder like tacos and sliders for $5, shoestring fries for $6 and mac 'n cheese bites and tots for $7.

This classic rock 'n' roll hangout packs the booths late at night with their Beggar's Banquet menu, available Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Order up $5 well drinks and house wines, $4 beers, $8 specialty cocktails, as well as discount bites like $6 pizzas, $5 salads and $8 pastas.

One of our favorite places for craft beer just so happens to also have a great late night bargain. On Friday and Saturday from 10:30 p.m. to close, and Sunday through Thursday 10 p.m. to close, you'll get 25% off their excellent, 42-tap selection of draft beer and wine by the glass, as well as $5 well drinks. They've also got a shot and a beer deal with Old Forester and a 12 oz can of Golden Road 329 Lager for $9 and the Whiskey Buck cocktail with Evan Williams bourbon, ginger beer and lemon juice for $7. You can also order up some late night snacks and sandwiches like their Kobe beef chili donuts or their BBQ brisket grilled cheese.

LOVE & SALT
Every night at this South Bay favorite, you can head to the bar and chef's counter during the last hour of service for an excellent deal on a bite and a drink. Order up Chef Michael Fiorelli's signature "Downlow" burger—aged promontory cheddar, caramelized onions, house pickles, tomato aioli on a brioche bun—or one of their killer house pizzas, plus a glass of red or white wine, or craft beer, all for $20. While you can't go wrong with any of their pies really, we definitely recommend the duck egg pizza with pancetta, panna, potato, rosemary, mozzarella and parmesan, as well as the roasted mushroom with creamy taleggio, fontina, and thyme. The deal is available Friday and Saturday 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m to 10 p.m.

BODEGA WINE BAR
Head to either of Bodega Wine Bar's locations—either in Santa Monica or Pasadena—for their regular happy hour on Monday through Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., or hit them up later from 10 p.m. to close Sunday through Thursday for the same deals. Order up $6 glasses of wine and soju and $4 beers to go along with their $8 pizza and $6 select appetizers. On Mondays, you can enjoy the happy hour specials all night long, or stop by on Tuesdays for $2 tacos and half-off beers.

LA DOLCE VITA
If you're looking to class up your late night carousing, head to this old school Italian institution, loved by everyone from the Rat Pack to presidents, to enjoy the sweet life—or at least a few hours of it. On Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., they offer quality pours of Italian and Californian wines for $6, Moretti Italian lager for $5, and classic cocktails for $7, including French 75, Moscow mule, Sazerac, margarita and cucumber smash. You can also order up great snacks like Brussels sprouts with bacon for $5, veal meatballs and Caesar salad for $7, or calamari and arancini for $8. And as an added bonus, they feature live music on Tuesdays, including jazz and old Hollywood covers, including Frank Sinatra who was a regular and original investor in the restaurant. They also have a regular happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday.

This neighborhood sushi favorite recently reopened after a van crashed through their front door. Thankfully no one was injured, and it's still a great place to go if you're looking for a cheap drink. From 8 p.m. until close, they offer small glasses of Sapporo, Asahi, and Kirin for $3 and $4.50 for large glasses; large hot house sake for $4.50; and cold house sake and house wine for $3. They also offer a wide range of sushi rolls for $4, so you can feast to your heart's content (and your wallet's).

This charming hideaway off the Sunset Strip is a great spot to grab some late night nosh with their secret, off-menu sandwich special. Every night, chef Jared Levy and his crew mastermind a sandwich using ingredients from the day's fresh offerings. Think free-range pork with farm fresh greens, or grass-fed beef meatball subs. The late night sammies are available from 10:30 p.m. until close Sunday through Wednesday and from 11 p.m. onward on Thursday through Saturday.

One of our favorite hidden spots in Little Tokyo offers a great late night deal. Beginning at 9 p.m. until close, they have a special $5 food menu featuring bites like tacos, sushi rolls, sliders, wasabi fries and chicken wings. You can also get classic cocktails like an old fashioned, a Moscow mule or a Negroni for $7, well drinks and wine for $5, whiskey of the day for $7, the beer of the day for $5 and $2 off Japanese bottled beers. There's also Sapporo on tap for $3 and you can add a glass of sake for $2, while other sake selections are 20% off.

This laid-back, neighborhood pizzeria offers a nightly deal on drinks and some of their beloved pasta or pizza from their wood-fired oven. From 9 p.m. until close, you can choose from a rotating selection of one regional Italian red, white and sparkling wine for a mere $6. For the same price you can also get their pizza bianca with salumi, as well as their pasta al forno baked in the oven.

MEXICALI COCINA CANTINA
This cozy Studio City favorite offers nightly specials from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Bring your thirst and appetite and enjoy $4.75 bottled beers, $6.50 house wine and well drinks, $7.50 sangria, $6.75 margaritas, $25 pitchers of margs, and plenty of Mexicali appetizers for $5.50, including queso fundido tacos and mini burritos.
