If you're anything like us, you probably ask for an extra order of garlic sauce whenever you order chicken shawarma from the likes of Lebanese and Armenian restaurants like Zankou Chicken. Now, you won't have to shamefully ask for more because you can make your own tub of the addictive fluffy sauce.

KCET recently released one of those fun, short cooking videos that delves into how to make the creamy, garlic sauce (aka toum) that you might find goes well with meats like kebabs, pita and vegetables. (Honestly, we'd spread this sauce over everything if we could.) And it looks like an easy one where you just need garlic cloves, salt, sunflower oil, fresh lemon juice and a food processor. If the video isn't instructional enough for you, KCET has a full step-by-step recipe here.
