Photos: The Mouth-Watering Food At Coachella's Pop-Up Restaurants

Coachella may be more popularly known as being a music festival, but over the past weekend, the event heads stepped up their food game with a stellar restaurant lineup.

Some of the cool things folks with VIP wristbands are allowed to access are the $50 prix-fixe meals from pop-up restaurants hailing from Los Angeles. For Korean fare, there's Roy Choi's POT eatery, where his team is serving up hot pots (with fun names like Jiggae What Jiggae Who), Korean BBQ and his refreshing Kush Salad. Kris Morningstar's Terrine offers some French-meets-Californian fare with items like grilled octopus with burrata cheese, pork belly confit, and a chocolate cake topped with a dollop of sea salt caramel frosting. Both the Garadene Swine and Scratch Bar joined forces to dole out some vegan and meaty options with their upscale new American dishes. They have items like a blackened cauliflower; pork belly topped with a raw oyster, dry-aged hangar steak; and a coconut pudding with mojito granita for dessert. See photos of the food above.

The pop-up meals are also available for weekend two of Coachella. They require a reservation, which you can book through the Reserve app now up until 12 p.m. the day of each event. Once the Coachella festival starts, anyone who has a VIP wristband can walk up to a host stand and make an RSVP for the pop-up event. You can also try to walk in and see if any seats are available.

We spotted some other unique and mouthwatering food throughout the festival. Some of these food vendors are open to everyone and some require a VIP wristband. Check out our full Coachella food lineup article here for more details.
