While not everyone can afford to shell out hard-earned cash to go to Coachella, it's nice to know that there's a huge and FREE Pasadena music festival just around the bend. Yes, Make Music Pasadena is coming our way on June 6 with a long list of musical acts, including How To Dress Well headlining.

The 8th annual music festival will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. throughout downtown Pasadena, which includes Old Town and the Playhouse District. They'll have over 150 musical acts—from indie rock to Latin and jazz—performing on five main stages and 30 smaller stages scattered throughout the streets at cool spots like parks, libraries, museums, rooftops and churches. They also expect over 50,000 people to attend.

Besides the experimental alt R&B tunes from How to Dress Well, some of Make Music Pasadena's other top billers include electronic-pop from Sir Sly, Icelandic indie folk outfit Kaleo, and experimental indie pop artist Kishi Bashi.
