The half-off ramen deal introduced this past summer is back with some new locations for slurping.

The promotion comes from Japanese magazine Weekly LALALA and it works like this: from December 1 through December 14, you can snag bowls of all varieties of ramen for 50 percent off, but you have to first purchase a $2 ramen pass from the magazine's website here. (If you think about it, you should only have to eat one bowl of ramen to already be getting a deal.)

Then, carefully look through the list of ramen options and choose your favorites. Certain types of ramen have special deals at various locations. Each deal has a specific date and time, so make sure you pay attention and choose your ramen adventure wisely. The locations are all over, so look for spots in Hollywood, Little Tokyo, Westwood, Koreatown and even San Diego, Sacramento and Vegas. And we're seeing the likes of Shin-Sen Gumi and Daikokuya in the mix.

One new location is Hollywood's Urban Ramen on Sunset, which was formerly Takara Ramen before its ultra-modern update. You can score classic, spicy miso or veggie ramen there. Other interesting varieties include a beef BBQ in Westwood, a 'black ramen' on Melrose and in Little Tokyo, and a bowl with fried chicken in Torrance. There are a few veggie offerings on the list as well.
