Photos: What Foods To Try At Artisanal LA This Weekend
Artisanal LA is a playground for foodies who are into—you know...artisanal things—and the two-day fest is returning to Los Angeles this weekend.
L.A. Mart downtown will be home to Artisanal LA on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food purveyors of all kinds will be there selling their delicious goods (of the organic and locally-sourced kind), including jams, pasta, ginger beer, jerky, hot sauce, sausages and even Wagyu beef. If you're curious about what's in store, the folks at Artisanal LA gave LAist a glimpse at some of the food and drink items they're most excited about (which you can see in the photos above).
In addition to Artisanal LA being a straight-up nosh fest, they'll also have a bevy of vendors selling kitchen and home goods. Included in the $12, single-day tickets, you can get access to their workshops and cooking demonstrations, which we have to admit, we'd like to attend most of them. There's demonstrations on how to make jerky and cocktails, and talks on coffee with local roasters, and the basics of sauerkraut and kimchi. Zoe Nathan Loeb from Huckleberry fame will also be there signing her book, Huckleberry: Stories, Recipes and Secrets From Our Kitchen.
Single-day tickets for Artisanal LA cost $12, and two-day admission tickets are $20. For more info, visit their website here.
