Suge Knight Shot At Chris Brown's West Hollywood Pre-VMAs Party

Hip-hop impressario Suge Knight was reportedly shot at 1OAK in West Hollywood earlier this morning. Knight, the founder and former CEO of Death Row Records, was at a pre-MTV VMAs party hosted by Chris Brown, who can be seen in this chaotic video after the shooting:

According to TMZ, "A source close to Suge tells us ... he was shot in the stomach and arm and apparently in other places as well... Suge walked out on his own power ... a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital."

Knight was reportedly one of three victims. TMZ adds, "The night started with tension. An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards ... there was a full-on fight. Game tried to get in was denied and left, but his buddies stayed behind. We do not know if they were involved in the altercation."

Documentary filmmaker Nick Broomfield suggested that Knight (and the LAPD) helped plan the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Years ago, Daly asked Knight if he was worried about being killed, "I never got nervous. One of the things, you gotta realize one thing. One, if you have god in your life, you know your enemies and you know yourself. What you got to worry about? I don’t have no enemies anymore."

MTV News pointed out, "At 9 p.m. PT on Saturday, Brown — an MTV VMA nominee at tonight’s show — posted a promo for the 1 OAK bash on his Instagram, adding the anticipatory caption, 'We bout to turn the [fu-k] up!!!!'"—but then this morning:
