Sometimes, waiting for the next 626 Night Market or KTOWN Night Market seems like an eternity. We can help but want to eat skewered meat, shaved ice and other Asian fare goodies on the reg. But our prayers may be answered as Monterey Park will be hosting its own monthly (and free) MPK Night Market starting on July 25.

The folks behind KTOWN Night Market in collaboration with the Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce will be running the festivities, which will be held on random Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Barnes Park, according to LA Weekly.

And the best part? They're planning on hosting a beer and wine garden there—the first time the city has allowed this at a public park, reported the Pasadena Star-News.

On opening night on July 25, attendees can expect about 15 to 25 food trucks there and shop at the farmers market that runs through the soiree.

The MPK Night Market website here will have more information about the event soon.
