4.4 Earthquake Wakes Up Los Angeles
Good morning, Los Angeles! We had a rude awakening this morning when a 4.4 magnitude earthquake rumbled through town.
The USGS said the quake was centered about 6 miles Northwest of Westwood (initially they said it was a 4.7). The quake at 6.25 a.m. shook at about a depth of 5 miles.
So far we haven't heard of any serious damage:
But the jolt was enough to knock over dishes:

This could affect your morning commute if you take Metro:
