Justin Bieber Is Cool Now That He Has A Banksy Tattoo

When Justin Bieber's getting tattoos of Banksy's work, you can't help but roll your eyes. The pop star (who's had a few run-ins with the law lately) posted to Twitter today his latest ink, an homage to the street artist's "Balloon Girl" mural.

However, just as soon as Bieber put up the photo, he took it down from Twitter. The original Banksy mural which landed on a wall in London shows a black-and-white stencil of a girl with an outstretched hand reaching out for a red, heart-shaped balloon. Bieber's tatt has the girl on the outside of his forearm. (We don't see the balloon in his snapshot, but it could be on the other side of his arm for all we know.)

This might be a coincidence, but the artist reworked his "Balloon Girl" piece this week with a depiction of a Syrian girl to mark the third-year anniversary of the conflict in Syria.

We're not sure if that is Bieber's reasoning behind the tattoo, but there's no doubt he's a fan of Banksy. The "Believe" singer has recently taken up graffiti as his hobby, defacing walls everywhere around the world with his awful "artwork." Remember the monkey he spray-painted on a wall that critics called "racist?" He even got L.A.-based street artist Alec Monopoly to paint a mural as part of his red carpet premiere for Justin Bieber's Believe in L.A. in December.

Hey, but if you're a fan of Bieber's tattoos, would you consider getting this iPhone case that captures them together for posterity (that just so happens to look like an Ed Hardy print)?
