It Is Going To Be So Wonderfully Warm This Weekend

Bust out the beach towels and sunblock, Los Angeles: a near record heat wave is on our way for the weekend, with temperatures expected to skyrocket to 15-20 degrees above normal. We had our heat wave to ring in the Winter season, and now we're saying goodbye with another one.
While the good people in New York languish in near-freezing temperatures, Los Angeles will have near summer-like conditions, according to the Los Angeles Times. On Sunday, the National Weather Service claims that downtown is expected to hit 88 degrees (!!), far above the normal temperature range of high 60s to low 70s. In Woodland Hills, temperatures may reach the 90 degree plateau. Granted, it's always considerably hotter in the Valley, but that's still pretty notable.
The heat's going to continue until Tuesday, when everything goes back to normal in time to ring in the Spring season. As always, please make sure to take necessary precautions when you're out and about this weekend. Drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen and all that good stuff.
But first, enjoy the amazingly beautiful weather that we're going to have this weekend (As if we have to tell you).
