Local Schoolteacher Accused of Molesting 2 Students
An eighth-grade Fullerton schoolteacher was arrested Friday and accused of sexual misconduct with two minors.
Melissa Lindgren, 28, of La Mirada is charged with felony counts of child molestation, child annoyance and “dissemination of harmful matter to a minor,” the Fullerton Police Department said, as reported by KTLA. Fullerton School District called the two Nicolas Junior High School students “brave” who came forward with the accusations, which lead to a joint investigation that resulted in the arrest.
Lindgren posted her $100,000 bail and was released. She has been placed on administrative leave and is scheduled to appear in court April 9, and the investigation into the alleged activity continues.
