Photos: Kelly Thomas Protest In Hollywood

Demonstrators marched through Hollywood Saturday night in protest of the lethal beating of homeless man Kelly Thomas, and the subsequent trial that led to two officers tried in the beating getting off scot-free.

Protesters gathered at around 4 p.m. on Hollywood Blvd. near Vine St. and then marched west on the sidewalk along Hollywood Blvd., according to Sgt. Charles Slater of the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles Times reported. The rally seemed to be peaceful, as no arrests were made.

Thomas was killed in 2011. An Orange County jury acquitted officers Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli of all charges related to the incident in January, leading to several protests.
