Photo: Angels Flight Derails, No Injuries
Angels Flight, the world's shortest railway, derailed Thursday, and six passengers needed help off the railcar.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, there were no injuries.
The funicular transport on Bunker Hill turns 112 years old at the end of the year. It resumed service in 2010 after years of being offline following numerous safety issues.
No word yet on what caused today's derailment, though Twitter was abuzz with the news:

Angels Flight derailed today, but no injuries (phew!). In 2001, there was a fatal accident (see 10:29 in this video): http://t.co/JzoNuLmgyz— Zach Behrens (@ZachBehrens) September 5, 2013
