It's another week, which means a fresh start to renew those almost-gone New Years vows of seeing as many comedy shows as you can. It's OK; we won't tell.

MONDAY 10/15

Everybody Gets Laid, 9:30p Hollywood Improv Lab. Start your week off with stand up from Jerrod Carmichael, Sunah Bilsted and others.

Crash Test, 11p UCB. Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel put up their monthly show with Chelsea Peretti, Ron Funches and others.


TUESDAY 10/16

Russell Brand, 8p Largo. Brand is up for some stand up one night only on La Cienega.

Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, 9p Nerdmelt Showroom. The popular writing performance show features Matt Braunger, Lisa Beth Johnson and so many more great people this week.


WEDNESDAY 10/17

The Kuntz Family Hour, 8p Comedy Central Stage. A sketch show where America’s best TV family has to put together their own variety show after their popular sitcom goes into the tank.

Dot Comedy, 10p Laugh Factory. It’s all stand up all the time at this show, with Eli Olsberg, Rob Delaney, Nick Kroll, Brody Stevens and more.


THURSDAY 10/18

A Carlin Home Companion, 8p Santa Monica Playhouse. George Carlin’s daughter Kelly Carlin returns in her sold-out show for another night of wonderful stories about her father.

Neil Hamburger 5-Year Residency Show, 8:30p Satellite. Oddball comedian Neil Hamburger has been doing a monthly residency for five years now, and to celebrate, he’s bringing along Jon Daly, Andy Kindler, Rob Delaney, Jen Kirkman, Brody Stevens and so many more.


FRIDAY 10/19

Dungeons & Groundlings, 8p The Groundlings. The mainstage company returns with some sketch, improvisation and plenty of character work.

Impro(vs)tandup, 9p Nerdmelt Showroom. It’s improv from I’m Hungee! (Rene Gube & Nick Mandernach) vs. stand up from Jimmy Dore, Taylor Williamson and Jonathan Kite.


SATURDAY 10/20

Requiem for the American Dream, 8p Second City. The popular Chicago comedy’s Hollywood outpost has been putting together a best-of sketch show, and their Open House weekend is the perfect weekend to check it out.

Garfunel & Oates, 8:30p Largo. The lovely and hilarious G&O ladies celebrate four years of absolutely crushing the comedy game. Check out our early interview here.

SUNDAY 10/21

In Conversation With…, 8:30p Largo. Jeff Garlin’s popular interview show returns with director J.J. Abrams, which should be hilarious and serious and goofy and oh so much more.

Skinny Sundays, 9:30p Hollywood Improv. The long-running stand up / variety show features Hampton Yount, Joey DePaolo, Hampton Yount, Dave Koechner, Steve Agee, Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll and more.
