The indie shows are hopping this week, with great stand up and improv from downtown to Hollywood. If you can't find a show to enjoy in this line up, you're probably dead. BUT IF THAT'S TRUE THEN HOW ARE YOU READING THIS?!

MONDAY 7/16

Keep It Clean, 10p Public House. Kyle Kinane, Hampton Yount and Jerrod Carmichael are all stopping into this Los Feliz drinkery for a night of free stand up.

One Love, 11p The Complex. Upstart indie improv show One Love has brought in improv legend Miles Stroth for the night, alongside Emily Candini. Improv darlings Murdercliff will be closing out the night.


TUESDAY 7/17

Undefined, 7:30p Hollywood Improv Lab. Jeremy Wein’s popular NYC variety show is heading west for a spell. To kick things off, they’ve got Dan Harmon, April Richardson and Ron Funches telling jokes. Erin McGathy will be doing a touch of storytelling and MC Mr. Napkins is providing the music.

Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, 9p Nerdmelt Theater. Bryan Cook’s hilarious show is back, and this month features Andres Du Bouchet, Jonah Ray, Erin Gibson, Sean Patton, Hampton Yount and tons more great people.


WEDNESDAY 7/18

The Meltdown, 8:30p NerdMelt Theater. The stand up show that started it all for NerdMelt, this weekly classic features Todd Glass, Tommy Johnagin and Nick Thune, with Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani hosting.

Sad People Talking, 9:30p NoLA’s. This indie downtown stand up show has Andres Du Bouchet, Brent Weinbach, Eliza Skinner and others this week.


THURSDAY 7/19

The Super Serious Show, 8p Club Fais Do-Do. One of the best stand up shows in the game turns two years old, so they’re celebrating with Jackie Kashian, The Sklar Brothers, Kyle Kinane, Guy Branum and others.

Nick Kroll & Friends, 9p Largo. Kroll is bringing along Anthony Jeselnik, Neal Brennan and Karen Kilgariff for a night of stand up.


FRIDAY 7/20

All-Night Diner, 8p Groundlings. It’s the premiere of the latest Groundlings mainstage sketch show, with some of comedy’s brightest future stars on stage doing a mix of sketch and improv.

Horrible Women, 8p Second City. Maribeth Monroe of Workaholics fame is putting up a one woman show that takes a look at the dark side of all things female.


SATURDAY 7/21

Brody Stevens, 8p Hollywood Improv. Everyone’s favorite LA local is doing a set at the Improv on Melrose.

Summer School Assembly for Delinquints, 10p UCB. Hip Hop Penguin is hosting a school assembly, and they’ve brought about a gajillion of their friends out to help.


SUNDAY 7/22

Chris D'Elia, 7p Brea. The Chelsea Lately star is doing a full weekend down in Brea.

The SWARM, 9:30p UCB. One of the most seminal New York improv teams ever reform like Voltron for the night at UCB.
