As we roll into July, don't forget that this may well be the last summer we ever have, what with that whole pollution/Mayans/Lebron winning a title trifecta we've got going on. Get out, see shows, enjoy it while you can.

If you've got a show coming up you'd like to see promoted, email me and we'll talk.

MONDAY 6/25

The Smartest Man in the World, 7:30p Cinefamily. Greg Proops’ extremely popular podcast gets the live treatment theater at the lovely Cinefamily.

Louis C.K., 9p Hollywood Improv. The hottest stand up in America is doing one show in Hollywood. Get in line now.

TUESDAY 626

Star Dreck, 8p Nerdist Theater. Kumail Nanjiani and Matt Mira tackle another terrible episode of Star Trek. This time, Tom Lennon and Todd Glass are joining them to make fun of what they find.

Evening With the Bitter Buddha, 8p Echoplex. An upcoming documentary about Eddie Pepitone is the impetus to put up one hell of a great live show, with Rob Delaney, Maria Bamford, Jen Kirkman, Nick Kroll and so many more people.

WEDNESDAY 6/27

I Triggered Her Bully, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Longtime television writer Cindy Caponera reads a few choice essay selections. Backed by music, of course.

Megan Mullally Live, 8:30p Largo. Mullalley and her band will be presenting an evening of live musical comedy and special guests, including Nick Offerman (her husband).

THURSDAY 6/28

Sarah Silverman & Friends, 8:30p Largo. Silverman has great friends, and she always brings them along to tell jokes. This month is Natasha Leggero, Eddie Pepitone and a few other shining stars.

The Shining! The Musical!, 9:30p UCB. Murderous singing & dancing. What’s not to like?

FRIDAY 6/29

DC Pierson / Dom Dierkes, 9p Nerdist Theater. The DERRICK alums each do 30 minutes of stand up.

Orpheus Roy / Old Milwaukee, 10p iO West. Two of iO’s best teams go back to back, every Friday night.

SATURDAY 6/30

George Shapiro Benefit, 8p Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The legendary manager is being honored, with the money being raised going to a charity of his choosing. Russell Brand, Gary Shandling and Sarah Silverman will be in attendance.

Left, Right & Ridiculous, 8:30p Hollywood Improv Lab. The always political and very funny Jimmy Dore brings friends along to talk shit about the world.

SUNDAY 7/1

Bill Burr, 7p Ontario Improv. Should you feel like driving out to Ontario for a nice long weekend, Bill Burr will be there waiting for you.

Bob Saget, 7p Irvine Improv. If you like being torn apart by a visceral maniac on stage at dinnertime on a Sunday, then this is the show for you.
